I know the 757 is calssified as "heavy" in the U.S. because of its wake turbulence, even though it actually doesn't have a GW to be a heavy.but what about Europe? Is "heavy" also added after the callsign for 757's in Europe?
any info appreciated

Nope, over here "Heavy" isn't added to the callsign. And last I checked the 75 was upper medium?

The 757 is only considered heavy in the wake categorization. And even this varies in different countries. So sometimes operators considering the 757 as a heavy wake producer have to advise so in order to get the appropriate separation.

I always ask for 2 mins after a 75, and will start to do so behind A321s now, had a good shake off one of those recently.

G'day

Mightn't be of any use to you in Europe, but in Oz a 757 is classified 'heavy' when following traffic is 'medium' or 'light', but classified 'medium' when preceeding traffic is 'heavy'. AIP ENR 1.4 is the reference.

Curiously the CH-47 Chinook is also considered this way.
