On sid chrarts what speed is required to maintain the route.

Do all the routes require rate1 turns?

Is the Info on the chart?

If not a specific speed of bank angle is stated on the chart it is standard values. These valuse can be found in the Legends or RAR chapter of your manual, depending on the make of it.

On SID's in general I beleive 250 kias is standard.

250 indicated below 10 is the standard unless the SID specifies otherwise. In Perth, Australia several SID's specify 140-150kts to 4,000 and 170-180 from 4 to 10.

One of the little catch phrases of my IFR instructor was "SID's and STAR's are just a series of straight lines connected by rate one turns".

I thought it was 210kts?

A Midhurst or Dover SID off the 27s at LHR have a first turn that is tight at 210kt.

Must agree flown sids at 250 and gone way outside I do belive that they vary.
