Before you were a flying instructor, how good a student were you ?
Did you ever give any thought to being an instructor when you were a student ?

I found it so-o-o-o-o hard ! I never thought I'd ever learn to land a plane myself - let alone one day be teaching other people how to. I reckon it probably makes me a better teacher in some ways.

Lousy. I'm glad I did not have me as an Instructor. I do keep that in mind with my students.

Shocker, absolute shocker. Think i had nearly 25 hours in the book before i went solo. Just hope i never have a student like myself.
At that point i never thought i would make a good instructor. Instructing never even crossed my mind until i did Instrument rating.
Glad I did it now though.:D
