Could someone in the know tell me how the recruitment process works at CityJet in Dublin? A mate of mine has his aptitude tests there next week.

Any information on the aptitude test, interview, sim and general process would be greatly appreciated. I've heard they're quite a content bunch; what are their bases, types, t's and c's etc.

Cheers in advance...

You've heard wrong then Cloggy. T's & C's non exsistant. WX make them up as they go along in order to suit themselves.
Type's ? 146. do I need to say more ?
Bases ? Wherever they want to send you, whenever it suits 'em.
Above said the people are a jolly nice bunch, and the quadrapuff is not a bad wee airplane for it's age.

Aptitude tests running this week - standard stuff, verbal, mathmatical, mechanical reasoning. PF64 personality thingy too.
Interview straightforward enough. Chief pilot and/ or chief instructor with some HR types. Expect some general tech questions. Sim check normally on EI BAC1-11 in Dub. Expect a T/O, SID, HOLD, STAR and ILS, possibly a VOR/NDB approach thrown in for good measure. Normally flown ex-DUB or MAN.
6 to 8 places up for grabs on next 146 conversion.
best of luck!
