The other night I was having a few "Ambers" at YE Old Six Bells.
with a few other pilots , between us we represented three different operator's.

The subject of defered maintainance came up ,and is a subject that I have personally had the experiance of a few times with (lets say bad maintainance)and has had the follow on effect of producing the odd "incident"/occurrence.

What I wish to ask is this.
How many of you other professional airman, not wally's in disguise, have noticed a change in engineering culture, and how many of you have heard the phrase, " your company says that if it will last back to base and is in the deferred book operate with it", this has always been the excepted case with reason?
But now we are getting A/C out of checks still holding deferred items, this is the apparent case and agrreed status of such over a few beer's.
I would be interested in your replies, as to if you are finding a increase of the same.

Cheer's and a hair of the dog to you all.
Crack.
