Pilots and Guns - What Do You Think

As September 11 nears us, we remember those innocent victims who tragically lost their lives in the attrocities in New York, Pensilvania and Washington.

Throughout this week and for much of next week, a number of TV programs have looked back on what happened on that day, and some of us begin to ask ourselves, Why dont pilots cary guns in the cockpit in order to try to prevent such an event?

There is a good thread on this subject in the reporting points forum.

My vote is a big NO for this. Just another incentive for a terrorist to get in the cockpit rather then smuggling them onboard.
