It is well known that many airlines worldwide are experiencing problems with their ATR fleets. Whether it be late deliveries of second-hand aircraft or the procurement of spares for in house aircraft.

Is there anyone out there able to shed some light on the current ATR spares issue?

The fleet here is the only sensible way to get around the Islands, other than by long ferry trips.
Lets hope the issue gets solved quickly !

Similar issues with Dash 8s, particularly the Classics.

ATR aren't Airbus's priority - never have been - and they've always stalled development of any significant growth in the current aircraft

I'm against BREXIT but that is b**** - ATR operators across the globe are complaining. In fact almost every aircraft production line is affected to some extent - everyone along every supply chain fired people and now they're puzzled why many of those laid off won't come back.......
