Hello Fellow PPruners

I am flying in the Sandbox, on several types (G280, B737, B767, A330) mainly.

We have been experiencing GPS "Spoofing" for a while now, due to the various recent "activities" locally, as well as in some neighboring countries for the past years.

On all airplanes, we usually disable the GPS before take-off, and we turn them back on once we are "far way enough".
If we don't, we experience all kind of weird issues.

On bigger airliners, we have IRSs, so an integrated dead-reckoning function. But more specifically for the G280, only w AHRS, i.e. W/O IRS, we rely on VOR-DME navigation which is reasonably ok.

We are trying to establish some kind of guidelines in order to standardize our operations amongst our pilots.

I would be happy to get some concrete recommendations. We heard on the the frequency airliners requesting "Vectors for ILS or for Visual" but I would like to avoid getting to this extremity.

Thanks a lot as always for your valuable inputs,

Happy New Year !

Leo
