Hi, I read that there was an intense solar storm with a strong radio burst on Dec 14.
Did it have real effects on airplane radio on VHF or UHF ?
There was just a tiny bit of news - often repeated. Anything else ?

Trundled across the North Atlantic during the peak of the storm with absolutely zero effects on HF or VHF. The peak impact was southern hemisphere though.
