If any of you folks out there fly an Airbus 220, does it have a Groundspeed Mini function like the other Airbuses, or do you add an increment depending on the Headwind and gusts?

I don’t fly it, but as it’s only an Airbus in the the same way the 717 is a Boeing, I’d assume it does not have GS mini.

I'd assume that it has GS MINI function since A220 was released way after A320 which I know for a fact that it does have GS MINI.

I’d quite like confirmation as the answer will be used for some mathematical modelling. But thanks for your input folks.

if anybody has an FCOM and the A220 does have GS Mini I’d really appreciate a snapshot of the relevant paragraph of the manual.

By the way I used to be A330 A340/350 rated so have the FCOMS for those.

It’s an “Airbus” from 2018 I believe… technically speaking it’s a Bombardier.

There is no GS Mini function on the A220 at all. Speed increments are applied for gusts and also if you dare to use the A/T until touchdown as it otherwise might result in some „interesting“ speed/thrust situations (it is laaazy and cannot be overriden despite having moving thrust levers - quite a poor design in my opinion).
