Jerry was a UK Navy pilot who did an exchange tour with the Australian Navy as an instructor on Hueys and I was one of his pupils during 1970. He formed firm friendships with his pupils and we socialised as a group, such that they were all groomsmen at my wedding. Jerry was some what taken aback by the necessity to make a 2,000 mile round trip driving over an Easter weekend to attend.
Jerry took a ship home and met a young Lady on board who he subsequently married, and I believe had a child.
Jerry post service went to fly with Bristow and was killed when his S-76 shed a blade at Aberdeen.
I and couple of his ex students would like to make contact with his Spouse and Child to pass on our memories of a wonderful individual who gave us such a good grounding in the profession.
Any help would be most appreciated.
