There's a couple of cracking videos (one from the pax cabin and one from the flightline), trying to find a way to post them. Maybe someone was taxiing using the old Buffalo lines.

Supposed to taxi in front of the Herc, instead of behind it?

They're bang on the taxiway centerline, and Google Maps shows (https://goo.gl/maps/Fszq4D6hNLG7ESoS9) there tail of a Herc pretty much where this one was, too, maaaybe a couple m further forward, but a lot more room in front of it nonetheless...

Not Judging here, but one of the many things I’ve learnt over the years is that “ Taxiway Lines DO NOT guarantee Wingtip clearance”.

If one looks at G Earth it is clear that to have more than sufficient wing clearance it should have taxied on the taxiway in front of the CC130H. What we don't know of course is what taxi instructions ATC gave.

They need marks on the taxiway indicating the maximum wingspan allowed.

Whenever I have been a passenger into Comox, the commercial airplanes use runway 18/36 to taxi to and from the terminal, not the military apron. When I have landed there in a GA airplane, taxiing off the runway is simply not permitted at all. I also wonder about the taxi instructions to the WestJet crew....
