I am searching for detailed information on the VSD on the B747-8. the FCOM offers very little info on this.
Does anyone have a resource that details the functionality of the VSD on the 748?

Boeing used to put out a publication called Aero. About 20 years ago they had a short article about VSDs.

It’s more about the why they were developed than how to use it.

Right you are that article references the initial 737 instillation. The 748 seems to be very similar to the 737 Max and short of the 787 which has a lot more features added
