Hi all...(please dear mods if you want to move this thread to another proper section feel free.)

We have almost one year of war between Russia and Ukraine, and few days ago a friend of mine asked me something that i also cannot have an answer, and i'm wondering if any of you can shed some light here.

There are lots of civil Antonovs still flying around, (12, 24/26, 124) in many cargo companies with Ukr registrations (UR) and under Ukr AOC's.

Having in mind all civil airports are closed in Ukr, the obvious "lost connections" with both Russia & Belarus, so my question is as follows»»»

Where are they doing their overhauls, mx, repairs, etc..???

Even crews, where are pilots doing their renewals, currents, etc?

Are they still safe for any EU company, institution, organism, etc, to hire their services, aircraft and crews?

Please i dont want to "politize" this very thread, but is only regarding aviation.

Tks in advance,,,Peace, JF

Do/did they somehow share it with Volga-Dnepr Airlines ?

Passenger aircraft are also flying. I noticed a Sky Up 737 at Riga in September.
