I don’t think that, judging by the photos, that the aircraft are scrap.

split them with you. Based on the pictures in the CBC article looks like glass and skin damage only. Nothing showing around the engine area

Tsk, tsk, tsk. Ruptured the pressure hulls. Definitely write offs. I better take them away for the scrap value. Just to make sure they are properly disposed.
