Hi
Whats the B787 roster like at Qatar? How many nights in a hotel out of Doha and roughly how many off days per month?

Whats the B787 roster like at Qatar? How many nights in a hotel out of Doha and roughly how many off days per month?
Does it matter? before you know it you are fleet transferred signing a new bond. Anyway, more than 8 days off per month NOT allowed quaptain.
Expect 7-8 days off in Doha per month and possibly another 1-2 days off outstation.
Expect to fly around 70-90h per month. Could be a bit more sometimes.
Mostly 2 pilots operation with flight duration of 5-8h on average. A few destinations are 3 pilots operation and flights are 8-10h long.
Destinations are Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia. Also expect some turnarounds within the Middle East.

Be aware that a new fleet can be assigned at last minute. It happen before!

Be aware that a new fleet can be assigned at last minute. It happen before!
Thank you, I’m B737 rated and hired for B787. So they could also put me on airbus? Or if a fleet change then it’ll be from B787 to B777?

787 in Qr is a nice fleet to be on, mostly Eu flights. I don't think they are going to send you to Airbus, most probably they could move you on 777 after 2/3 years.

You can be assigned anywhere.
i have a friend there, was flying 350. One day he saw on his roster 330 course in order to fly mixed fleet 330/350.
A few days later he saw 777 course.
Guess what? He ended up making the 380 course….😂
