Departed BOH 15.04 local for RHO and since take-off has been flying race-tracks overhead at circa 4,000ft. Presumably burning off fuel to achieve landing weight?

Took my eye off FR24 to have a look at F1 qualifying then realised I hadn't heard it make another lap. Found it again with FR24's playback and tracked it heading east then landing at LGW at 16.38 local. To the relief of passengers presumably.

“Engine vibration” according to LGW GCC. Full Emergency downgraded after they landed.

I'm now standing by for the Daily Mail report! :E

Sounded like a tractor overhead in the New Forest, looking up due to the clattering noise. The local rag Bournemouth Echo has ten different reasons as normal for this occurrence.

I was at Hamworthy park with the grand kids and thought there was a big piston aircraft circling around in the clouds. I guess it was the TUI 737.
