For those of you flying 10+ years, do you (purely subjectively) find there’s more or more intense weather around Europe to avoid these days compared to 10 years ago?

Seems about the same - but definitely fewer pterodactyls to avoid.

There definitely was more when I used to fly Turboprops!

No, but the ATC is worse. French, Spanish, Italian. They've gone down several levels in standards.

I was thinking the same. Like you didn't use to have regular afternoon buildups, especially not in this season. Maybe this year is particularly humid, or it could also be that I forgot how it used to be during the 2 years of pandemic.
