An excellent documentary.
I had no idea that the original concept was an Avon-powered twin.
Is there more to this than the video says? Perhaps a similar story and backroom (and dirty) politics to the Avro Arrow?

The Avro Ashton was a similar looking aircraft but developed from the Tudor.

In similar vein, when a certain favorite airline was going through the pain of ATP service introduction someone found a Flight Magazine piece from 1946, and the subject the problems BOAC were having with the Tudor service introduction.
