MIT Survey Looking for Participants

Hello! As part of an MIT survey, we are looking for experienced pilots to help evaluate past aviation convective weather interactions. The ultimate goal of our study is to better predict when convective weather situations will cause a deviation from a planned route. Participants will be asked to evaluate flight segments which may (or may not) have deviated due to the tactical weather situation. Participation is entirely remote via email, and will take about 15-30 minutes, depending on the number of cases you wish to label. I did the survey; takes about 15 minutes and is quite interesting - especially what the goal of the experiment and research is.

A huge thank you to everyone who has participated so far! It's too early to say anything definitively, but so far we've seen a lot of variation in the responses (which is very interesting). In order to better understand this variation, we are hoping to find a few more participants who can help us.
