A question regarding Single engine procedures- In one engine taxi procedure, why is it that in CEOs we need to put the cross bleed to open, while we don't do the same for NEOs? Appreciate give with airbus reference. Thank you guys

It’s not a requirement for the CEO. In fact if you do, you get a slight increase in idle thrust and higher fuel burn from the single engine which almost defeats the point of a single engine taxi. However, both packs will operate.

On the NEO, it’s not recommended as you get a significant increase in thrust on the running engine which can make controlling the speed when taxiing an issue.
