Hello,

I have noticed the generic HOT for type IV fluids giving a slightly higher HOT with 75/25 rather than 100% in conditions of snow/snow grains/snow pellets. What is the rationale behind it?

Thanks!

Some antifreeze compounds have a lower freezing point when diluted with water (hydrogen bonding). Might be this?

Sometimes certain quantities of water added to fluids increase viscosity and can enhance HOT performance.
Not very intuitive but still correct.
