Any PPL training recommendations in New Jersey, USA?

Afternoon all,

An old friend of mine is thinking of doing his PPL - he lives in Westfield, NJ. Pretty close to Linden Airport.

Does anyone have any recommendations / avoids in that area? What's the current state of play with COVID?

Try Century Air at CDW. Haven't trained there, but had a long chat with the Chief Instructor and was impressed with the ethos.

Better to not use the term PPL. Ask about getting your Private Certificate. We both speak English but use it quite differently...........

Thanks for the tips, I'd seen that school and thought it looked pretty decent - I'll pass it on.

Luckily he's lived there for 10 years or so, his lingo is pretty native!

Yes. The FAA issues "certificates," with ratings that don't expire.
