Hi guys,

I'm looking for datas regarding A220-100 & A220-300 fuel burn.
Apart some vague press article stating some % less I didn't find anything with solid datas.

Do you guys have some performances datas about those aircrafts?

Many thanks.

Estimates i heard, at around MTOM

A220-100 at FL 400 some 1600 - 1700 kg/h
A220-300 at FL 400 some 1700 - 1800 kg/h

The guy said, high figures to be on the safe side for a quick mental endurance calculation.

A220-100 yes with the reduced "paper" MTOM of 58 tons. Could even work with the 63 tons manufacturer limit but it will corner you.
Today advertised at up to 63 tons but you cannot cram so many passengers load and fuel in for shorter flights (2 hours). So that's not an issue.

A220-300 useful at MTOM FL 370 - 390 @ some 64 tons.
you can nearly always reach 380 at MTOM with both 100 and 300 but the 300 is struggling a bit. (just about 1'000 ft/min)
Initial cruise level at MTOM (useful level) is 370 - 380 even 390 if conditions are smooth.

:E You ought to try a 787 with uber derated engines to see 'struggling'! We can frequently be 700fpm in the twenties!

:E That's even worse than a full RJ100. We got 700 fpm at least up to FL 250 - LOL.
