Hi!
Has anyone any experience with the airline the last couple of years? I've read some old numbers where pay wasn't fixed, it was all up to the number of hours you fly. How is the bonding on the A319/B717? What to expect if invited to interviews etc.
Just wondering if it is worth applying for or if it is just another hole in the ground...?

They only recruit FOs on the 717, you’ll have to pay around 20000€ for a useless rating and earn around 12000€/year afterwards.

Totally agree with the above chaps.
So, positive sides ( few) are : very nice and warm environment, especially if you respect each other; CC are friendly and Pilots are nice chaps; financial stability.
Downsides: very few hours during the year, expect max 500; the salary is simply disgraceful, expect 1k if less than 40bh, not more than 2.6k if 80 ( this fortune only 3 times per year); contracts are with unpaid leave (usually 8 months on/4 off, when u will earn 0 ) for at least 2 seasons.
And, to finish, a lot of “mafia”: if you know someone, you will be safe.
No bonding, just pay for the tr.
Interview quite hard and selective, prepare atpl and for a sim ride.
Fortunately I am in Dublin

I agree, it is impressive what airlines do nowadays to justify a reduction in terms.. Just wanted to hear if anyone had experience with the scheme, but with the info from SpGo, I would definitely pass on this chance :rolleyes:

Don,t even consider to apply or fly for this scum airline.

Get these suckers out of business! Once again, the EU commission whimpies do nothing to stop this scandalous abuse of pilots looking for a job.
Look somewhere else! There are far better options available!

Mate, I am with you. These infos are from a close friend still there.
Off course, financial stability for the management, not for the employees...
Maybe someone from the inside can tell us something more

I would assume you can make a heck of a lot more than that as a prostitute, without even being good at it.
Our industry and what too many (European) pilots accept is a disgrace.

Is that 1000 bucks figure for real? If it is, it may well be the lowest salary I've ever heard of. How can someone possibly accept that is beyond my understanding. :bored:

because there are a lot of desperate 250 hr CPL holders in Europe, tryin to get on the ladder and not many companies , or even companies willing to take them

You might want to consider the value of your your 717 rating ...
Volotea ...Hawaiian .. Quantas .. Delta ... bit of a limited choice for a 'Northern European' ?
