Does anyone know when (and where) John Travolta is due to arrive in the UK with his 707?

Id heard that he has or is doing a big global tour for charity in the 707, with a lot of advertising for Quantas as part of the funding, apparently Quantas have given him a 747-400 type rating as part of the deal.

Youve got to admire the bloke, he certainly has got some talent.

You ask why? Well, if the answer is Heathrow and the time is one that I can manage then I might try and post myself about 2/3 miles out on finals with a long lens for a piccy. No big deal.

SpeedBird252, mate, QANTAS is spelt like this Q. A. N. T. A. S.(no letter "u"). Its really an abreviation for Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services. Yes Travolta is doing a trip for QANTAS, as a promotion for Qantas and flying confidence post 9/11. Go to the Dunnunda Forum for more details BirdSeed 525!

Saw it at EGPH parked at the southern end of 30/12 on Saturday night.

I'm not sure if it is still there but any spotters who want a good picture will get one by heading down Turnhouse Road towards the Cargo Terminal. Just beyond the farmhouses on the left is a road that gives access to the farm. It's public so no problem using it. It takes you across the railway line and brings you out near the threshold of 30.

A few weeks ago I went here to see the Spitfire, Hurricane and Lancaster getting ready for the airshow at East Fortune.
