Why do these naive people keep paying RYR prices and expecting MON (RIP) or LS standards of customer service ?
Something has to be cut to reach down to those prices!
I really feel for the public facing staff, left out in the firing line AGAIN!!
No surprises here folks.

So, passengers are watching grounded airplanes taking off without them?

I think it would be sensible to forbid the posting of Daily Mail's articles on this forum.

getting ....... - a refund, or booked onto another flight. At least BA sorted their passengers out, I know there were issues getting through to helplines, but once through, they sorted people out, they didn’t leave them high and dry.

Well that explains it then. Photographing plane all day at Gatwick and I was a bit puzzled why I saw only 3 or 4 of their planes.

Stuck in charleroi after a guineas world record whiskey tasting event in Ghent. Dublin snowed under..after 6 hours flight cancelled..ryanair airport staff stayed on to rebook us all and arranged buses to hotel.
unfortunately the local pykies heard about us and a couple of women entered hotel..one made a scene whilst the other went robbing.
Next day same wx and flight delayed again and again. Flight landed just before airport closed..staff magic and We eventually left 15 mins after the airport officially closed.

When I order a pizza at an Italian restaurant, I expect to be able to sit down at a table and have a waiter serve me. I also expect the food to be high quality and prepared by a licensed cook, and that the kitchen conforms to the local standards for food safety.

When I order a burger at McDonalds, I don't expect to be served by a waiter. I do expect the cook to be safe to eat and that the cook and kitchen conform to the local standards for food safety.

The same thing applies to RYR. RYR passengers should not expect to be served by a waiter, but they are entitled to a reasonable expectation of RYR adhering to their side of the transportation contract.

Ryanair has one advantage over BA; it allows passengers to print out boarding passes 60 days before a flight. BA only allow that 24 hours ahead, which isn't much use if you're abroad and out of reach of a computer or printer. Smart phones and clever apps are all very well when both ends of the system work, but when using Ryanair I'd never leave home without both outward and inward boarding passes printed out and with my passport.

Have you any idea of how sinister that sounds? Have you any knowledge of the history of banning publications by certain regimes? Freedom requires you be exposed to articles that you abhor. Rejoice at that news!
