View Full Version : A320 Eng Agent 2 on Battery

Hi, can someone please confirm from the maintenance manual circuit diagram about engine agent 2 availability on battery power. I cant understand why they have written "Engine Agent 2 is not available" as highlighted in the EMER EVAC procedure below:

DC 2 Bus not powered.

This is because ENG 1+2 Fire bottle 1 squibs A+B are supplied by the 28VDC HOT BUS (direct from batteries)

And ENG 1+2 Fire bottle 2 squibs A+B are supplied by the 28VDC BUS 2 (from TR2)

hmm ok, don't know what made me think that agents were always on the hot bus.

Is this setup only on this type (A320) or on all airbus types? Its been a long time that I flew A310, B737 and B777 but cannot recall anything like this.

It's also not an issue on SETWA modified 320CEOs
