For the access to the airline specific forums - some of them state that you must be a pilot for the company while others do not;

So is it possible to access these just as a regular ppruner; of course I realize that I would have to e-mail the moderator

What kind of answer is that ? Shon7 asked a simple question, and you give him that answer ? Go back to school and learn how to read again.

Shon7: I believe it's possible to access these forums by e-mailing the moderator, but I would guess that you should also have a pretty good reason for it. The forums are meant for the people working for that company otherwise there would be no point in calling it a private forum.

But hey, what do I know. give it a shot.

The Airline forums are specifically for employees of those companies. Some forums invite wider access than others. But all of them are only open to you if you work for the company.
