At Charleroi, it's gone from EUR2.009/litre (March), to EUR2.317/litre (May) - over 15% increase in less than three months.

Not noticed anywhere else, is this a global/European thing, a Belgian thing, or a Charleroi thing?

Wait till that clown Bolton talks Trump into attacking Iran to see where gas prices will be at. We’ll all be taking up stamp collecting or train spotting.

Get it down, anywhere charging more than 1.80 at this time is frankly taking the pi$$

Its not that simple, the price depends on what was paid when the tank was last topped up, for some fields this can be months ago. The price of filling the tank depends on current prices, quantity and distance from the depot so there are many variables at play.
Also some airfields own the tank and pump so they can shop around, many are owned by one oil company so no competition.

100LL is selling for $5.00/U.S. gallon in Cincinnati at KLUK. This equates to $1.34/liter or ₤1.05/liter. I clearly recall topping my Cessna 152 off at a cool $1.00/gallon in 1976, not all that long after the 1973 Arab Oil Embargo. Oh, to be young again!
