I was really sad to hear of the passing of “Spot” Phillips yesterday. You don’t expect people to have fatal accidents whilst conducting nav aid calibration flights :sad:

Had the pleasure of working for him in Kabul and when he was OC LATCC(Mil) at West Drayton. One of the good guys without a doubt.
