Hello,
I am an EASA airline pilot with 5000hrs TT and 1500hrs PIC on commercial planes. I need to get the FAA ATP asap. Unfortunately there are not a lot ACTUAL informations on the web regarding this topic. It seems to be much more complicated these days. Has anybody ANY information?

- Which schools offer these conversion?
- How much time and money to invest?
- any other inputs?

Thank you!!!

There is plenty of info on here, this question was covered as recently as last week, suggest you use the search function...?

Try here for a start https://www.pprune.org/north-america/618961-faa-flight-training-regulations.html

In short, there is no conversion, you need to simply follow the requirements to gain the FAA ATP listed in 14 CFR part 61A person (https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/14/61.157) who is applying for an airline transport pilot practical test (https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/14/61.157) must meet -(i) The eligibility (https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/14/61.157) requirements of § 61.153 (https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/14/61.153); and(ii) The aeronautical knowledge and aeronautical experience (https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/14/61.157) requirements of this subpart that apply to the aircraft (https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/14/61.157) category and class rating (https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/14/61.157) sought.
