Hi all...a kind help please:
Does the SAFA audit on UE//EASAland could also contemplate an audit to the insurance papers on an airplane or the Insurance stuff doesnt belong to the EASA/SAFA audit checks?
If so, for example, is it mandatory only for an aircraft flying under an AOC, its only checked on private(nonAOC) operators, third countries, etc?
I'm trying to search EASA legislation regarding Insurance papers and stuff but till now i still dont have an idea totally formed.
Or if "Insurance Area" doesnt fall into or under EASA jurisdiction, where it belongs?
Many thanks in advance, JF

I have always been asked for insurance papers when ever I've been SAFA checked in Europe. I work in the airlines so I'm not sure about private aviation. If you are flying private jets but under an AOC I believe the inspectors will treat you the same as the airlines.
