With all the discussion of misbehaving drunk passengers, I'm curious as to the extent of the problem. About how many times per year do you encounter a drunk passenger situation that:

Comes to your attention at all?
Requires you to take some action, for example, telling the passenger to behave or be deplaned?
Requires that a passenger be put off your aircraft prior to take-off?
Rises to the level of a physical altercation in the cabin?
Requires that the police be called upon to remove and/or arrest a drunk passenger?

This thread is purely to gather data; please just report the facts and don't argue the issues or policies here.

Who are you and who do you work for?

Honestly I'm just curious -- My bailiwick is sensors and automation so I'm about as far removed from dealing with drunk passengers as could be.
