Very sad and at a same time great.
to share with you next. My dear friend Captain Vojo Vucelic died at age of 57. He died in Basel in hospital due to complication during operation. Thing what company ASL did is impressive. They offer a plane to take him back to his country for free. And they named an aircraft after my friend's name "VOJO". Not many companies would do that. So all the glory to my friend. All the best to ASL and THANK YOU from all pilots around the world.

Wow... that is completely the opposite of what I thought this thread was going to be about! :oh: A truly nice gesture from the company... It is heartwarming to see that some companies still realise it isn't all the bottom line! :ok: :D

Condolences to you, Mrokorak... and may "Vojo" rest in peace.

Enjoyed flying for ASL in their previous incarnation as Air Contractors. Always felt that we were treated as individuals rather than as a number.

Good to hear that years later the human touch still continues.

Great to see that the good old Aviation family spirit still lives on in some airlines! Respect for ASL and RIP to Vojo ..57 is quite young to make your last flight :(
