Dear fellow Aviators,

I am an ICAO CPL holder issued by CAAP (Philippines) wih total 250 hours on single engine piston. I am seeking out for advice on self financing type rating program with a potential job placement at the end of it. I am prepared to go anywhere in the world and very eager to know what is going on in the African market.

this has been explained ad nauseum previously. If we have to explain why paying for airline training and type ratings are not good for our profession, we may kindly ask you to pursue another profession.

Appriciate your comments thank you. I understand it's a risky method, however I've seen someone get a job after their type rating, so it isn't impossible or done see if as being bad. I'm not changing profession respectfully, if you have any good advice for me I'm listening. An alternative idea might be helpful instead of telling me. why Type rating is bad for the industry.

I have a choice to build hours at my flight school but the problem is safety standards. So I'm trying to figure out how to stay alive but at the same time move forward.
