The report has finally be issued for the EMB-145 which left the runway on landing and closed the airport for 24 hours.

In short Captain in training with not many hours on type, sets the parking brake instead of spoilers. To be fair training captain didnt spot and messed up the checklists a little.

From the report:

"After touchdown, the aircraft may have remained on the runway surface but for the addition of forward thrust during the landing roll."

Oh for the days when the AAIB knew the difference between "might have" and "may have". :O
