Does anyone know a few more ADF frequencies for the Pacific region to tune in some music or news or sports (whatever actually)?
Up to now I only know 590, 690, 990 and 558.
There was already a thread a while ago, but people mainly collected European or North American frequencies.

Pacific - 570 / 590

Luatoka - 639

RADIO Aust HF - 13630 / 1386 / 15240 / 9580 / 9870 / 9850 / 15720 / 13630 / 15415 / 9500 / 9475 / 11695 / 17795 / 17800 / 17840 / 15160.
Alot of HF Freqs but I've had the best reception on the 15 megs.

A little tip I learned years ago. All Oz AM radio frequencies add up to either 9 or 18 and I think the same with NZ. For example ABC 576=18, 2UE 954=18 ABC702=9 2GB 873=18. So you can just have a guess at a frequency and it could well work for you. By the looks of Chocks list it works anywhere in the Pacific other than USA (Hawaii). A little bit of useless info maybe !! I’ll get my coat.

Yeah I use that process too. Start on something you know like 702 or 774, then one click cw on the tens followed by one click ccw on the ones gives you the next freq. Can do it without looking. But there is only one station to listen to on the long nights over the Pacific. - 1500 Kumu. Their programming has not changed since about 1940!
Alas these new aircraft I fly don’t even have an ADF fitted...

The AM band spacing is 9 Khz therefore a sum of 19 does not work. e.g. 1215,who h is a popular frequency

Scratch Radio Australia; they shut down early last year. Some of the frequencies previously used have been taken over by China.

... in International Telecommunication Union (ITU) regions 1 & 3. In ITU region 2 (the Americas) frequency spacing is 10kHz. Thus flying across the Pacific you will be exposed to both.
