Hi all,
I have been browsing around online and I am looking for some helpful advice with regards to applying for my PPL. I did my skills test back in August and haven't had a chance to sort it out yet. Will the fact that I have left it so long cause any issues? Thank you!

Is everything still valid? Are sections 7, 9 and 10 of your 1105A filled out and signed?

I think the best way of doing this is to go back to the training organisation where you did your PPL and get them to apply on-line with you. That way, they can check that all your application details are correct and their HoT/CFI can certify documents as required. If there are any snags, such as insufficient hours or exams out of date, that's the place to sort them out, not leave it to the CAA to have to e-mail you and then join the back of the queue. We had one on-line application recently where the applicant got their licence back within 3 weeks - much quicker than postal applications, apparently.

I did my skills test back in August and haven't had a chance to sort it out yet. Having spent a lot of money getting this far, why risk loosing it by an unnecessary delay. Fall off your bike and loose your medical and you cannot apply! All your efforts can go out of the window in one easy go. I have seen it many times and your school really should have helped you to get the applicatin in as quickly as possible.

I agree with Whopity, you should have got on with it straight away, any problems the CAA might find could lead to others, like exam passes on written's expiring etc:ugh:
