Has anyone used the FlyWrite Logbooks? Actually, does anyone know if a student can use them for his PPL logbook?

Hi EI

Never seen them being used over here (UK) normal logbooks seem fine for the basic info etc, always good to have a back up be it on computer or written where u can add the odd remark which wouldn't look too good in the log;)

Also from the site you wiil see it has not been updated since 1998!!!!! says something about the setup I guess.

Ordered one and it arrived today. Not too bad, but I'd be happier if it wasn't ring-bound - I'll be ordering another to act as the offical JAA one though, 'cos it's all set up for FAA training (obviously, it's an american company...).

Isn't there something in the small print about UK pilot logbooks that says "Not lose leaf"? Vague, distant bells are ringing in what passes for my brain...

Whoops. Sorry, wasn't trying to plug the thing .
In case anyone's interested, I've since decided to get a normal logbook, one of those little leather cases for it and a seperate journal instead.
