On the Rotorheads page is another variant, with endplates on the horizontal stabiliser, and a stab bar fitted under the main rotorhead. Strange - wonder which was the first version? Perhaps this one.

This video might aid in figuring out the many variations of the XH, YH, and H-1A....and later the UH-1A. B. C, and M models. (All short Cab models)

Later Bell came up with the Huey Tug which would pick up a lot more weight than the standard B/C/M aircraft.
