And the fact that it all stopped quickly when it ran into the ground I would say that is a fair assumption.

thank goodness it wasn’t twin engined! Imagine the mental trauma of just flying away safely.

Excellent choice of take off path too. Open, flat, unrestricted space to the right but instead take off over the wires and buildings. Smart.

Is there not a means for engine disengagement, free wheeling, clutch, etc.?
Assuming there is, then failed engine would not stop the rotor. What else could do that on this model?
