REX announcement to the ASX on Friday afternoon advised that Air Link Dubbo had been divested from Regional Express. The full cessation of RPT routes was given as the reason for the divestment and the B1900 was sold earlier.
Does anyone know to whom they sold it.

Poor old Airlink.

At least it will remain etched into the minds of the many who served.

Ski Guru, don’t you mean sacked.

Was Airlink still doing RPT out to Brewarrina, Bourke?

Nothing left in Airlink just assets although the hangars have been taken over by local engineering company.

Purchased by Airmed/Wingaway/Chartair

When Airline was sold to Rex the then owner David Miller still owned all the buildings and hangers at Dubbo Airport. Rex would pay rent to David for use of his buildings. He still owns the buildings to this day. Obviously with a new lessee.

VH-RUE as mentioned above is owned by Townsville Airlines and the aircraft is based in Cairns. The other 1900 VH-RUI I believe went to Canada.
