A 757-300 Thomas Cook flight from Gatwick to Lanzarote reportedly declared emergency due to engine fail warnings yesterday.

ATC cleared landing priority, long landing ocurred normally, ground services were deployed but finally not needed.

So basically everybody did their job properly and the incident was dealt with routinely.

Nice one Guys. Bit if a trick X wind going on looking at the wind sock. Wish my landings in the sim were that pretty.

The return flight to Gatwick was only delayed by a couple of hours. I think we can safely assume it departed with the same engines, both operating, that it arrived with. :O

The most exciting thing about that entire non-event was the palm tree in the bottom part of the screen. It was quite hypnotic I thought.
