One of the chapters in Malcolm MacPherson's book "The Black Box" recounts a wind shear incident that occured in 1995. The flight in question was AA flight 1572, from ORD to BDL. The aircraft sheared off tree tops and struck an ILS antenna before landing. The pilots did an outstanding job, there being only one minor injury to a passenger. I've read and re-read the chapter, but I can find no reference to the type of airliner involved, other than it being a twin. Does anyone know what type of airliner it was?
