Not sure if this would be accepted on the Wannabees or ATC forum and so I thought I'd try it here.
NATS are accepting applications for ATC posts but what about for Assistants?
I wouldn't qualify for an ATC post but have plenty of practical experience of the industry and a C&G Adv Ops Cert which I would love to put to good use as an assistant.
Any advice or info would be much appreciated.

All ATSA posts are handled locally, rather than advertised nationally. Pick a unit [Gatwick, Farnborough, Swanwick etc] and apply direct. The ATSA force is currently shrinking rather than expanding :( , so most vacancies are being filled by staff transferring from other units, but occasional slots do arise. Not the best news I know, but worth a punt.

I would also say that you may have to be preapred to travel somewhat for an Assistant post, as these days they are few and far between sadly.
