Good Afternoon All:

Attached is a tribute to the HumboldtBroncos Hockey team choreographed and performed by the RCAF Snowbirds. Their “Missing Man” formation has a special meaning to all military aviators who have lost colleagues.

The Snowbirds did a wonderful tribute and at the end of the video note the hockey sticks on the nose of eachaircraft.

The Snowbirds, of course, are based in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, about 200km south of Humboldt (which in Prairie terms is practically the next town over).

Excellent job! Always love to see the Snowbirds fly. I remember talk of getting F-18s as a replacement like 15 years ago. Does anyone know how long they are planning to keep the Tutors?

I was on the team many years ago and was just st out at the Home Opener in April. I was told they just extended the life of the Tutor to 2030 ( I guess age 65 applies to airplanes now too! LOL! ) and they are going to put glass cockpits in reducing the weight of the airplane by 450 pounds of avionics.
