I have previously worked for British airways from January 2016 to July 2016 and have a B1/b2 Visa and a c1/D visa which are supposed to expire in 2026. I am returning to the job on 24th April 2018, so next month and have been told by British Airways to check that the visas are still valid as sometimes they can be cancelled after leaving the job.

No one I have spoken to at BA is sure about what happens to visas once you have left and the US embassy are useless! I’ve done 5 online contact forms and have phoned multiple times (but every time they either hang up the phone while I’m speaking or shout at me to get off the phone because I’m holding up the line?!)

Does anyone know what happens to US visas after leaving an airline? So they get cancelled or are they still ok to use?

You may continue to use them, even with another operator.
Done that more than once.

I have also changed operator multiple times during the validity of the Visa. They are valid for 10 years and many pilots change operator during the validity.
The Visa even stays valid if your passport expires. In this case you have to travel with your new passport, and also have the old one with you for the visa.
