Does it matter? Or does your employer (Fairfax New Zealand) want this information? Diversions happen regularly.
What about unexpectedly strong winds enroute? Destination airport weather forecast going below minima?

I bet you couldn't sleep thinking about all the possible reasons the a/c would have diverted. Hope this thread helps you get through these tough times.
