Hi,

Trying to get an idea of where and to what degree ATC has implemented the capability to display the Mode S enhanced surveillance parameters at the controllers' station.

Is it fair to say that pretty much anywhere you go in Eurocontrol land the controller will have that info in front of him/her? Or are there still countries/facilities that haven't implemented it yet?

How about the US? Seems the FAA is a follower rather than a leader on this, but haven't been able to find any concrete information on how far behind we're following. Future plans? Just beginning? 50% implementation?

How about the mideast? I know that places like the UAE like to have the latest and shiniest in a lot of things, have they jumped on this technology?

I think you mean Selected Level.

If it always matched Cleared Level there wouldn't be any need for that safety-net. :O

Yes - quite correct, selected level compared with cleared level...

Then of course, there are the airframes which are mode S equipped, but have opted not to downlink the data....
